Greetings from Command Central...

I love starting new projects, meeting new people and thinking in terms of everything being "fresh."  Goodbye to 2008...you were good but 2009 is going to be great!  My motto for the new year is, "Do It Now" and I have tons of ideas for new projects, shoots and  products.

On the short list of items to share:
An article I wrote regarding preparing your children for their photoshoot was published by Savvy Source, a blog for parents. The article can be found Here  Savvy Source is an excellent resource for researching Cleveland and Akron Preschool.

Check back later this week for info regarding photography classes taught by yours truly.   I know that a lot of you received cameras for Christmas and are baffled by your fancy new gear.  My goal is to teach a class that will help you increase your odds of getting the photos you envision.  Knowing a few little tricks can make a big difference.  SLRs will not required.

RAK 2009 will be posted on Monday.   RAK stands for Random Act of Kindness. RAK 2008 featured two sessions: Baby Kate and Nikki & Brian. I guess that it's not so random this year but it is still an act of kindness.  Start telling your family and friends about it.

I would like to start a monthly blog post featuring your family photos from past sessions.  I get a LOT of questions about "what other people do" with their photos during ordering sessions and I would love to share your photos of your photos (ha!) with the world.  You will receive a $50 gift certificate to use towards loose prints for a future session if your photo is selected.  Send your email with a description and a photo.  It's that easy!

Finally, a few pics of "Command Central," aka my office.  It's a space rarely seen by the outside world.
