A Few Of My Favorite Things...

My friends and family were exceptionally generous this year.  I thought I'd share a few of my favorite gifts from this year as I try to catch up on my blogging...in no particular order.

Williams Sonoma Professional Multi-Chopper
I have never been one to declare my love for any kitchen appliance.  I LOVE my multi-chopper.  It is dishwasher safe, easy to use and makes me happy.  Dicing drives me nuts...my multi-chopper dices in an instant.  I really, really love this tool. (Thank you Santa Mom.)

Couples Geneology Tree
My In-Laws bought me this awesome piece of interactive artwork.  There are two panels (his & hers) that will be filled with the names of our relatives that make-up our family tree.  I have started laying my side out and cannot wait to hang these in our dining room.  It has been fun talking to our parents and learning more about our family histories.  My Father-In-law urges everyone to write down as much of your family's history as possible before it's lost!  (Thanks Ellen and Rick)

The Gift Basket
My sister's boyfriend went out of his way to put together an awesome basket filled with our favorite things...wine and chocolate.  It was super sweet of him...big thumbs up from us.  (Thanks Chris!)

Ski Boots
The guys at Geiger's Ski Haus in Chagrin Falls hooked me up with awesome boots when my husband took me there to pick new ones out.  (The gentlemen there were very kind when I declared, "I suck at skiing and need boots that are comfy.) I HATE putting on ski boots...these are very tolerable to put on (that's as good as it gets for ski boot) and they are comfy on the slopes.  Granted, I am a beginner and do not anything about skiing...they don't hurt my feet...that makes me happy.  The arrow is the plastic tag.  My Dad always makes fun of my sister and I for leaving the tags on our clothes.  It made me laugh when I was adding the blog tag to this photo to discover that my boots still have their tag. (Love you, Derek!)

Holiday Cards
December is my happy mail month.  Everyday is an adventure when I go to the mailbox.  Reading the sweet notes that family and friends and clients write always put a smile on my face.  I need to remember to write more letters of thanks and appreciation next year.  Simples notes can really make your day.  (Thanks Robyn.)

Battery Tester
No more confusion regarding used/unused batteries for me!  It's so simple yet so useful. (Thanks Santa!)

The Aerolatte and Trader Joes Sipping Chocolate
I have the best clients in the world...I especially love when they feed me.  Every single day I have a cup of cocoa during Brendon's naptime and now, I can have froth too.  The cocoa is divine and I am starting to get a hang of he froth making. YUM!!!!  (Thank you Emily.  I ate all of the marshmellows...that's why that aren't in the photo too.)

The Denim Jacket
A denim jacket has been one of my wardrobe staples for as long as I can remember...when I am not losing them.  During the great Jean Jacket Loss Event of 1990, my sister and I both lost our jackets that we have received for the previous Christmas.  It was a defining moment for our family...many tears were shed.  Recently, I lost the denim jacket that I had worn with pride for years on a flight.  Of course, the airline claimed no knowledge of my jacket.  My Sister, Erin, came through on Christmas.  I have a brand new denim jacket that I can't wait to wear this spring.  (Thanks Erin!!!)

Really dude, you need to get over the chopper - if this obsession continues I am going to request your presence at Choppers Addicts Anonymous! I bet they meet on Tuesday and have good cookies. (Stop sticking your tongue out at me!)
