I photographed Julie, who is in her 38th week of pregnancy today.  For anyone who has ever been pregnant, this image will feel very familiar.  The last few weeks are exhausting and you can't decide if you want time to speed up or slow down.  The story behind the image...I often talk about "seeing" images as I'm shooting.  I asked Julie to open the front door because I loved the color and wanted to add a touch of light to the living room.  I suggested that Julie lie down and relax while I took a few images and then I saw their coffee table...a clock of all things!  It was perfect.  I love everything about this images.  The dreaminess of her reflection, the sun streaming in...to me, this is pregnancy in it's final days.

Julie and Josh are super cute, so they very easy to photograph.


Bailey, their cockapoo, was the star of the show.
