As most of you know, I have been working on a special project for Mother's Day.  The MOMS Club of Copley/Fairlawn is sponsoring a mini photo shoot marathon to benefit ACCESS Shelter of Akron. I had the opportunity to visit ACCESS this morning and learn more about their facility.  ACCESS is unique in that the facility caters to women and children.  The guests that stay at ACCESS come from all walks of life and utilize the services while they are getting back "on track."  It is a wonderful organization and all of us who are involved in the event are very excited to be contributing to "Akron's Best Kept Secret," aka, ACCESS. 

Thus far, we have had a great response from the community.  55+ Moms have signed up for the event as of today!  Appointments are going fast, so if you want to schedule one, the appointment calendar can be viewed here. 

I'm really amazed to here so many Moms say, "Wow, what a great idea.  I have NO photos of myself with my kids."   Hopefully, all of the kiddos (young and not-so young) will look at these photos in 50 years and marvel at their Mom's loving smiles! 




Mothers Helping Mothers- Mother’s Day 2008 Mother and Child Photo Session.  The MOMS Club of Copley/Fairlawn along with FML Photo Design and Bebe Suite are sponsoring mini photo sessions with all proceeds going to support Access, Inc., a local homeless shelter for women and children.  Photographs of Mothers with their Children will be taken at Bebe Suite (55 Ghent Rd, Fairlawn) by Felicia Lewis, of  FML Photo Design, on April 18-20.  Each Mother will receive one 5X7 photograph from the session in exchange for a $25 donation.  For more information or to schedule your appointment, please call or e-mail the FML Photo Design Studio at 330-294-0661 or info@fmlphotodesign.com, or MOMS of Copley/Fairlawn at momsofcopley@yahoo.com.
